Practical operations and systems improvement
Get the work moving.
Keep it moving.
For owners and operations leaders whose work crosses people, departments and systems. Rental, fleet, workshop and other service or asset businesses can share the same problems: repeat questions, missing information, delayed handovers and too much chasing.
I work through the real problem with your team, agree what needs to change and help put it into use. A new system is only part of the answer when the work calls for it.
We agree which part of the business to investigate and how far the work needs to go. That may be one workflow, several departments or a wider operation. The starting problem is not a fixed limit on the service.
Quoted for your business. Discovery, implementation and support are each scoped and quoted individually. You receive a written scope, fee and agreed delivery arrangements before committing. Software, specialist development and travel are separately agreed where needed.
01 · Find the cause and choose the next step
Find the real problem
A price for the investigation your business needs
For you if: the same problem keeps coming back, but you are not sure whether the cause is information, responsibility, process or software.
What you buy: a clear, evidence-based understanding of the agreed part of your business, the causes of the problem and a usable brief for what should change — if anything.
- Conversations with the owner and the relevant people doing the work.
- Walkthroughs and representative examples across the workflows and teams included in the agreed investigation.
- A simple map showing where work waits, what is missing and who needs to act.
- A prioritised action sheet, one practical change to try and a review of the findings with you.
- A separately priced implementation scope if further help is worthwhile.
What we need from you: access to the relevant people, representative examples and records, and someone who can agree the priorities.
Boundary: the written scope defines the business areas, sites, people, evidence, deliverables and review arrangements. Discovery does not include implementation, software development or data migration unless separately agreed; accounting and legal advice are outside this service.
Delivery: the approach and timing depend on the investigation, staff availability and evidence needed. Your process owner provides access and examples; you retain the business decisions.
Payment: the fee and payment arrangements are set out in the written proposal. There is no obligation to buy implementation; discovery remains useful on its own.

02 · Put the agreed change into use
Put better ways of working in place
A price for the changes you want to make
For you if: you know what needs to change and need someone to work through the details, coordinate the people involved and help the team use it.
What you buy: the agreed changes taken from a clear scope through practical setup, team practice and acceptance checks. The quote reflects the size, scale and how much you want to solve.
- Agreed responsibilities, decision limits, inputs, handovers and completion checks.
- Practical instructions and configuration in an existing suitable tool, within the written scope.
- A pilot with the people using the process, including normal work and agreed exceptions.
- Training for the agreed team, named process owners and a usable handover pack.
- Defined aftercare for the delivered work, with the effort, period and boundaries stated in the proposal.
What we need from you: a decision-maker, a process owner, agreed access and time for the team to take part in the pilot and training.
Examples: stop ordinary questions returning to the owner; make a sales-to-operations handover work; clarify payment-query ownership; establish reliable job or asset status; capture an important role before someone leaves.
Boundary: the agreed scope may cover a small workflow, several departments or a larger phased change. Custom software, integrations and data changes are included only when specifically scoped and priced. Technical providers are contracted for their named scope; AutoButler coordinates the operational work. New requests need a written scope and price change.
Delivery: phased around your operation, with dates confirmed after scope, access, partner capacity and decision owners are agreed. Completion means the listed checks pass and the agreed handover is accepted; a document alone is not implementation.
Payment: the fee, payment milestones and any provider charges are agreed in the proposal for that job or phase.

03 · Keep the improvement in use
Keep improving after the change
Support and price agreed around the actual need
For you if: an agreed process is in use and you want help checking adoption, resolving recurring gaps and keeping responsibilities and instructions current.
What you buy: the support you actually need to keep the agreed improvements working, with the work, time and fee agreed separately.
- An agreed combination of review meetings, preparation, small adjustments and follow-up, based on the actual need.
- Review of the agreed operating measures and open issues for the supported work.
- An updated action list with owners and dates, and a short record of changes made.
- A review at the agreed interval to continue, change the scope or close support.
What we need from you: named owners, current feedback and examples from the work being supported.
Boundary: no 24/7 availability, emergency cover, unlimited revisions, technical hosting SLA or new development. The included work, time, response arrangements and contact windows are agreed in writing. Extra work needs a quote and approval.
Delivery: for agreed areas of work with named client owners. Software faults go to the responsible provider. Support is optional; its frequency, payment and ending arrangements are agreed for each client.
